Our Commitment to Privacy
INNOCONSULT MEDIA PTE. LTD. ("We" "Our" "Us" or " Innoconsult Media”) is dedicated to protecting the privacy of individuals who participate in our surveys and use our online services. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, retention, and security of information obtained from our users and survey participants.
We do not disclose personally identifiable information about our survey respondents to any third parties, except for the purpose of reporting survey findings to our clients or as mandated by law or legal proceedings. "Personally identifiable information" refers to any data that can identify you as an individual, such as your name, physical address, or email address.
Information We Collect
To meet the objectives of our diverse surveys, Innoconsult Media gathers a wide array of information. For instance, survey participants might be asked to provide personally identifiable details (like age, gender, education), demographic data, financial information (such as household income), and their specific opinions on various products and services.
Participation in any survey is entirely voluntary. Respondents should only answer questions they are comfortable with and may choose to skip any question. Innoconsult Media reserves the right to report the data gathered (e.g., demographic information, preferences) to our clients. Any information you willingly provide within a survey may be shared with the entity that commissioned the survey. We will not disclose a respondent's personally identifiable information to any clients or third parties other than the specific commissioner of the survey.
How Is Your Data Used?
Innoconsult Media utilizes your data to secure registration transactions. With your prior consent, your data may also be shared with third parties for them to achieve their objectives. We want to inform you that you can revoke your consent for this data transfer at any time by accessing the "Personal Data" section in your personal account on the Innoconsult Media platform.
How Long Do We Retain Your Data?
Your data will be stored in our systems for as long as your user account with Innoconsult Media remains active. You have the right to delete your account at any time. Furthermore, you can also remove specific categories of data you have voluntarily provided at your discretion.
Who Has Access to Your Data?
To connect you with relevant market research opportunities, Innoconsult Media partners with trusted third-party market research firms ("Research Partners"). We may share certain information about you with these partners for a few specific reasons.
The data we share includes your unique ID number (UID) and general demographic or personal information. This can cover details like your zip code, gender, education level, and employment information (such as your job title or industry). It may also include information about your lifestyle and consumer habits, like products you own, whether you own a home or have pets, and other general household details. In certain regions, and only where legally permitted, this may also include ethnicity or race.
We share this information with our Research Partners for the following purposes:
- To Match You with Surveys: They use this data to identify surveys you might be eligible for.
- For Audience Analytics: Their clients may use this anonymous data to better understand their audience.
- To Enhance Research Data: They may add this information to your completed survey responses to provide their clients with more robust data for analysis.
- Other Uses: For any other purposes outlined in our partners' own privacy policies.
How It Works & Your Choices
If a Research Partner identifies you as a good fit for a survey, they will send us a unique survey link. We will then email you an invitation to participate.
We will never share your name, email address, or phone number with our Research Partners.
Please note that your information may be transferred to and stored in countries outside of your own, including the United States. By accepting this policy, you are consenting to this transfer and processing.
You are in full control and can opt out of this data sharing at any time. To do so, you can:
- Click the unsubscribe link in any survey invitation email.
- Log in to your personal account at www.innosurvey.com.
- Email our support team at [email protected].
If you choose to opt out, we will take care of notifying our Research Partners.
Finally, participating in these surveys does not make you a member of our partner companies or entitle you to any of their separate benefits. If you have any questions about our data-sharing practices, please don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected].

Your Rights Under U.S. State Privacy Laws
As a resident of the United States, your privacy is protected by various state-level laws. These laws give you more control over how your personal data is collected, used, and shared. Below is an overview of some of the key regulations.
California: California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)
Building on the foundation of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the CPRA expands the privacy rights of California residents. This law gives you the ability to:
- Prevent businesses from sharing your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate personal information that a business holds about you.
- Limit the use of your "sensitive personal information," which includes details like your precise location, race, ethnicity, religion, genetic data, sexual orientation, and private communications.
The CPRA also established the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) to enforce these laws and penalize violators.
Virginia: Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA)
Virginia's VCDPA grants residents of Virginia more control over their personal data. The law governs how businesses must handle your information, giving you specific rights to access, control, and opt out of the sale or processing of your data for targeted advertising.
Utah: Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA)
The UCPA provides Utah residents with fundamental rights over their personal information. While considered business-friendly, it outlines clear obligations for companies on how they must manage your data and provides you with the right to access and delete your information and opt out of its sale.
Connecticut: Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA)
The CTDPA is designed to give Connecticut residents robust data protection rights. The law applies to businesses that operate in the state or provide services to its residents, especially those that handle the data of 25,000 or more consumers.
Under the CTDPA, businesses have a responsibility to:
- Be transparent about the types of personal information they collect.
- Protect your data using reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures.
- Provide a clear privacy notice explaining how they use your information.
- Get your consent before collecting and using your personal data.
- Allow you to access, correct, and delete your personal information.
- Have a process for notifying you in the event of a data breach.
Key Privacy Terms & Definitions
These state laws often use specific terms. Here’s what they mean in plain English:
- Consumer: A resident of a state acting in a personal or household context (not in an employment or business capacity).
- Controller: The company or person that decides why and how personal data is processed.
- Processor: A person or company that processes personal data on behalf of a controller.
